Description

Duck Leg in confit is an elaborate dish, like a real restaurant, but that you can easily enjoy in comfort at home, thanks to the workmanship studied by Jolanda de Colò who creatively renews cooking in confit. Confit is an ancient preservation method that involves cooking food in fat for a long time at low temperature. This confit duck leg is a ready-made dish (you only need to heat the leg in the oven or in a pan) but with the quality of haute cuisine: the firm and tasty meat from goose fat are embellished with crispy skin with strong aromatic notes.

Suggested Preparations:

  • Put the sealed package in boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove from water and open package. Enjoy with roasted green bean and potato or serve with a bowl of steamed rice.

  • Open package and place duck leg in a hot oven (200°C) for 15 minutes until the skin becomes crispy. Serve with 3 Gold Medals balsamic vinegar, boiled fennel and boiled baby carrots.

  • Put the sealed package in boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove duck leg from the package and pan-fry with wild mushrooms and beans using the sauce from the package.
