Description

Chef Zeno's Slow-cooked Suckling Pork Belly from Tipico Italian Grocer.

This product is pre-cooked and frozen. Any pink coloration is from it's slow-cooking technique. Italian pork should be served medium well, be sure not to overcook this piece of meat to enjoy it at it's highest potential! 

Cooking Instructions:

    Option 1:

    • Cook by adding vacuum-sealed bag to boiling water. Boil for 10 minutes.
    • Remove from water, open bag, and serve.

    Option 2:

    • Remove pork from bag and place with the rest of the ingredients on tray with baking paper.
    • Cook in oven using grill function with fan, 180 °C for 10 mins.

    Option 3 - For crispy skin:

    • Open vacuum packed bag, take out pork belly and pat dry.
    • Preheat a pan on medium heat with 1/2 Tbps of olive oil
    • Place the pork belly skin down and press the meat down with a spatula to make the skin flat
    • Turn the heat down to low and let the pork belly cook gently on the skin for around 10 minutes. Cover.
    • With the help of a spatula, gently lift and flip the pork belly so that it is now skin-side up. Let cook for another 3 minutes.
    • After 3 minutes, remove from the pan, sprinkle with salt and serve.

    Shelf-life: Frozen up to 120 days.
